We’re breaking new ground at the Culcairn Solar Farm, a whopping 440 MWp renewable electricity project!

Spanning across 1,000 hectares, the Culcairn Solar Farm is set to become one of Australia’s largest solar farms upon completion. The project received development approval from the NSW Government in 2021, which includes the potential to add a 100 MW / 200 MWh battery in the future. The solar farm will connect to the on-site 330 kV transmission line managed by TransGrid, ensuring efficient distribution of the generated renewable energy.

Unyte has been engaged for the construction, tasked with completing bulk earthworks, road stabilization, internal road construction, drainage work, electrical conduit installation, and concrete pavement construction.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing the renewable energy infrastructure in the region and contributing to Australia’s clean energy goals.
